Smart Contracts
Non-custodial escrow contracts hold and release entry fees automatically — entry fees sit in the escrow contract, not in a SkillClassics account, until you claim your prize or refund.
Non-Custodial by Design
Entry fees sit in the escrow smart contract, not in a SkillClassics account, until you claim your prize or refund. When you enter a match or tournament, your entry fee goes straight from your wallet into an on-chain escrow contract. Only the match outcome releases those funds, and the release happens automatically, according to rules written into the contract before you ever entered.
Once your entry fee is locked in escrow, the contract's code — not SkillClassics — decides where the funds go, and it only ever sends them to the players entitled to them. There is one published exception, written into the same contract: a prize or refund left unclaimed for 30 days after settlement becomes recoverable to the platform treasury (the contract's SETTLEMENT_DEADLINE), so that funds sent to a wallet that can never receive them are not lost forever. Claim within 30 days and it does not apply to you.
How Settlement Works
Every contest on SkillClassics — a head-to-head match or a full tournament — follows the same path from entry fee to prize:
- Approve token — your wallet grants the escrow contract permission to move your entry fee. You stay in control and can revoke this at any time.
- Entry fee locked in escrow — the fee transfers from your wallet directly into the contract, not to SkillClassics or any other player.
- Match plays out — the game itself runs on our servers, validated by our game engines, while your entry fee sits untouched in escrow.
- Result recorded — the outcome is submitted to the contract so it knows who is entitled to the prize.
- Winner claims prize directly from the contract — funds move straight from escrow to the winner's wallet. No withdrawal request, no manual payout. We never charge a fee to withdraw. Claiming your entry fee, refund, or prize costs only the blockchain's own network fee (gas) — nothing more.
The Escrow Contract
One purpose-built contract covers every contest type on the platform — head-to-head matches run as two-player Sit & Go tournaments, so they settle through exactly the same code and the same audited money path as a full field.
Handles multi-player tournaments, both Sit & Go and scheduled formats. Every player's entry fee pools together into a single prize pool. Once the tournament concludes, tiered prizes become claimable by finishing position — each player who finishes in a prize position claims their share directly from the contract.
Your Fee Is Locked In
The service fee rate is snapshotted the moment a match or tournament is created. It cannot change on you afterward — even if the platform's fee structure changes later, your contest settles at the exact rate you saw when you entered.
Deployed Contracts
Every address below is pulled directly from our live chain configuration — click an address to copy it, or use the link to view it on that network's block explorer. Mainnet networks handle real funds; our test networks are there if you want to try the same contracts for free first.
Entry fees are paid in USDC (and USDT where available) or in the chain's native coin — ETH on Ethereum, BNB on BNB Chain. Native coins are escrowed and paid out directly; the platform never wraps them into an intermediary token, so there is no wrapped-token contract in the settlement path.

Audits & Security
Our contracts follow an ongoing internal security-review program with publicly posted findings and fixes — see the Security Audit page for the full scope, methodology, and results. These are internal, AI-assisted reviews. An independent third-party audit has not yet been completed; until it is, entry fees stay capped at the micro tier.
