Fair Play Policy
SkillClassics is committed to fair gameplay. Random outcomes inside every game are cryptographically committed, and every move is validated server-side.
Our Commitment
Unlike traditional gaming platforms where you must trust the operator, SkillClassics locks in every random outcome inside a game — every dice roll and every card shuffle — ahead of time using a cryptographic commitment, so results can't be influenced or changed after the fact. In tournaments of three or more players, byes and first-round pairings are drawn at random by our server when the tournament starts. That draw is not yet independently verifiable. Our smart contracts are continuously security-reviewed, our in-game randomness is cryptographically committed, and our game engines are powered by professional-grade software. Every move in Chess, Backgammon, Gin Rummy, and Go is validated server-side.
Patent pending (AP 2026 17028). Core elements of this fairness architecture are the subject of a pending patent application.
Fair Randomness
For games that require randomness (dice rolls in Backgammon, card shuffling in Gin Rummy), we use a cryptographic commitment scheme. Inside a game of Chess or Go, nothing is random: every outcome comes from the players' moves.
The platform locks in a commitment to the randomness before any dice are rolled or cards are shuffled. The committed value can't be changed once the game begins.
Each random outcome is bound to the commitment made before play. Because the commitment is fixed up front, neither the platform nor a player can steer a result.
The committed value is recorded with the match result, so each outcome can be checked against the commitment that was locked in before the game.
Game Integrity
For Chess and Go, where nothing inside the game is random and so there is nothing to commit, we run a multi-layered, automated integrity system:
- Automated integrity checks: matches are screened by automated systems for irregular play patterns.
- Hidden-information security: in Gin Rummy, opponent cards are never sent to your client. The server enforces strict information boundaries, so no client-side exploit can reveal hidden cards.
- Server-side validation: every move is validated server-side across all games. Illegal moves are rejected instantly.
Specific detection mechanisms are not published — disclosing them would help bad actors evade them.
Each completed match is assessed by our automated integrity system, and the result is recorded alongside the game outcome for admin review.
Matches flagged as suspicious may be subject to manual review, prize withholding, or account action depending on severity and frequency.
Reporting Concerns
If you suspect unfair play in any match, please contact our support team with:
- Your match ID (visible in the game URL and match history)
- A description of the suspicious behavior
- The approximate time and move number where you noticed the issue
All reports are reviewed by our admin team. Confirmed cheaters face permanent account suspension.
